4- Taking too many classes at once
College isn’t the same as high school and many students don’t realize this until they have already gotten themselves overloaded with classes and responsibilities. Trying to take two or three extra classes in a semester is a good way to get burned out fast. Learn your limits and don’t take on more classes than you can handle. After all, you need some free time and breathing room as well to balance things out and relieve stress. Stress can cause a lack of sleep and that means a low immune system and more susceptibility to things like the flu or colds, which won’t do anyone any good because you won’t be attending any classes in that condition.
