5 Pros and Cons of Going to Online Schools

Cons of Going to School Online

  1. More Self-Discipline Needed

If you are studying online, you will need to have tons of self-discipline and you should be excellent in managing your time as well. Since you will not be having a specific time set for your classes like you do in physical schools, it will be imperative for you to manage your day for studying. You should also keep yourself motivated since online schooling is more lenient than studying in physical schools. You can also be easily distracted since opening up a tab to your Facebook account or YouTube would be easier. These temptations and many more must be fought hard since there will be no teacher to remind you to keep your focus on your studies.

  1. Technical Difficulties May Happen

Online schooling is also prone to technical difficulties. These technical difficulties may include slow internet, broken computer, and even your tech know-how. You see, online schooling needs fast internet connection so you can study smoothly and with no delays. If your internet connection is slow, you may find yourself easily bored out of what you are doing and since no one is there to reprimand you, you can just easily stop studying and just do other things for that day. In another case, if your computer is broken, you may need to delay your studying for the day or until your computer is fixed. This can slow down your studying momentum. Being tech savvy is also very important if you are to study online. Though many online schools are easy to navigate, some computer jargons and know-hows can slow you down if you are not aware of them.
